Tip
Practice opening and closing the clips before you begin.
With the clip side of the piece facing you, put both thumbs on each side of the clip and the index fingers at the front sides. Snap the clip open by applying pressure toward yourself with the index fingers. Similarly, close the clip by applying pressure away from yourself with the thumbs.
Separate the hair. Using a tail comb or your index fingers, part the hair horizontally from one side of the head to the other. Starting about an inch above the ears, part the hair around the back of the head just below the crown and to the other ear.
Clip up the hair above the part. Lift up all the hair above the part and clip it out of the way using duck bill clip(s).
Pin up the hair that is below the part. Take the remaining hair and secure in large pin curls so that it lays as flat to the head as possible.
100% Human Hair Extensions can be styled wavy or straight. Style your extensions before clipping them in.
Placement of the first clip. Open all the clips on the piece. The top middle clip (1) should be attached first by placing it at the middle of the back of the head just below the part so that the top of the weft is even with the part when attached. Moving the clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut.
Placement of the second and third clips. Attach the left top clip (2) next. Hold down the center clip with your right hand, and use your left hand to move the left edge of the weft as far as it will go around your head. Snap left clip shut. Holding the middle clip with your left hand, now attach the top right clip (3) in the same fashion. Check for gaps by running your fingers along the top weft to make sure it lies flat against your head. If you find a gap, open the clip and reposition.
Placement of the remaining clips. The bottom right clip (4) is next. Pull the hair out of the way and place this clip by stretching the piece down to the bottom edge of the nape and slipping the clip into your hair, making sure the clip securely catches the hair at the end of the nape. Repeat on the left bottom clip (5). Next attach the right side clip (6) behind your ears. Finally, attach the left side clip (7).
Finishing the look. Release all the hair that was clipped out of the way with the duck-bill clip(s) and blend in with Hairdo™ Clip-in Extensions.
Removing the wefts. To remove the piece, snap open all the clips and gently lift up and away from your hair.
Remember
Never try to remove a weft without first opening all the clips. Pulling or tugging to remove a weft can result in damage to your own hair.
Cleaning the Human Hair
Tip
Caring for your new hair product is easy, and you should treat your new product as an investment that you want to keep looking new and fresh for as long as possible. The correct care and maintenance will allow you to continue using the product with the best results for the longest amount of time. So, use the following instructions as a gauge for determining how and when you should wash and care for your products. And, know that you can always call 1-800-581-8206 and speak to a licensed cosmetologist for answers to all your questions.
Just like your own hair, human hair will accumulate residue through normal wear. However, you do not need to wash the hair everyday to keep consistent results. The hair should be washed as infrequently as possible or when you notice that the hair appears dull or acquires an odor. If you are wearing the hair all day, every day, you can wash them after 3-4 wearings.
Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles. If hair is excessively tangled, a spray on conditioner should be used.
Always use a mild shampoo or one specifically formulated for chemically treated hair.
Run the hair under warm water and after placing a small amount of shampoo on your fingers, gently work the shampoo into the hair, stroking downwards from the weft base to the ends. Do not twist, scrub or rub the hair. Use the shampoo sparingly.
When clean, rinse thoroughly under warm running water until the water runs clear. Be sure to rinse until all shampoo is removed, as improper rinsing could result in damage.
Just like your own hair, human hair extensions need to be conditioned after shampooing to maintain a healthy shine and promote styling ease.
Place a small amount of conditioner in your hand. Gently work into the hair and let sit for three to five minutes.
Rinse thoroughly in warm water.
Gently towel blot to remove excess water.
Tip
After you have finished washing and towel blotting (drying) the hair, spray the hair with a leave-in conditioner before beginning to comb the hair. Starting at the ends, grasp the hair above the area you are combing and hold the hair firmly while moving a large toothed comb down from your grip towards the ends. When you have combed out all the tangles from the hair you are holding, release your grip and grab the hair closer to the top. Continue to comb the hair below your grip. Continue this method until all the hair is tangle-free. The key is to treat your hair as if it is on the head of a "Tender-Headed" person. By doing this, you create the least amount of tension that may result in hair breaking or pulling from the weft.
While wet, gently comb the hair to remove tangles. Using a large toothed comb, move in a downward motion away from the clips and to the ends. Do not use a bristle brush on wet hair as it may pull out or break the hair.
Hang to air dry, set in rollers, or use a blow dryer on a low setting, as desired.
If the hair is excessively dry, a "professional" conditioner may be necessary. Consult your stylist about this.
Styling the Hair
Steam rollers and/or wet setting are the safest way to curl your human hair.
Blow dryers, curling irons and other thermal tools may be used on low settings. Remember, the hair may scorch if the setting is too high.
If you choose to use electric rollers, always make sure that the ends are wrapped into the rollers to avoid "fishhooks".
For cutting, or any chemical processes such as perming or coloring, take the extensions to a professional stylist.
Remember
Unlike your hair, this hair does not grow back if you cut it. So, remember to always take your new hair to a salon professional if you need it customized. This will give you the best results!
Storing the Hair
It is best to store the human hair in it's original container. However, you can store the hair in a plastic bag.
To keep the desired curl pattern, you may want to set the hair on rollers that conform to the curl size you wish to maintain before storing in plastic.
Do not sleep or swim while wearing the human hair.

Author: Morgan Marsh The hair extension feels soft and it styles beautifully. I think the product was over priced for just the one piece, the price makes me iffy, I would have loved around $175.

Author: Angela WOW!! I have been hoping somebody would come up with a product as fabulous as this. I just recieved my synthetic staight 21" hair extension and it is great. It looks & feels so real, its easy to put in, and makes my hair so long and full. By the 2nd or 3 time I could do it with my eyes closed. I am so happy that I never have to put in those permanent heavy, expensive hair extensions in again. Thanks Jessica & Ken!! I just love it so much, I will definately purchase the wavy one as well!!!!!I'm so glad I saw your add in the In Style magazine!
Author: nicole They're great hair extensions but the price is incredibly high. I would love to see it between 150-225 dollars. And with more of a color option.
Author: Lisa McIntosh WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! What are you thinking!
Author: Ashley McKnight I am writing in regards to the HairDo Extensions. I am a full time hair stylist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I have become very familiar with human hair extensions. I, myself, have had and have applied numerous sets of hairdream extensions. Recently, I removed all of my hairdream extensions from my head and ordered the human hair HairDo extensions. I LOVE it!! It is a very practical process for me and I am enjoying the ability to be more flexible with my hair.
Author: Donna P I know everyone keeps saying that the 21" HairDo is really expensive and they wish it was cheaper, but the price is pretty reasonable compared to other types of extensions. I don't wear them for fun...I wear them because my hair is very thin and hard to grow, so I have done the research on different types. For high quality hair added at a salon I was sometimes paying twice this much, once you factor in the removal, commission, hair addition and cutting. Plus, it only lasts 3 mos. It was getting hard to afford. This is just the best I have seen in the clip-in, because you don't have all these wefts you have to add that each require clipping into your hair, and you don't have to buy more than one set to get a fuller effect. This piece has more hair than the kits generally have. Plus, let's face it...it's human hair, and I need to be able to curl it and flat iron it, and quality human hair is not cheap. But, there are options in the collection for synthetic hair that are more affordable. I have worn them before, without worry, but they just don't last as long as the human hair. I was buying two to three synthetic kits (sometimes more to get fuller hair), and they were getting worn out with everyday wear. The human hair seems to last much longer, so the price was all evening out in the end. I'm not saying I don't like the synthetic hair, because I have two that I wear if it rains or I am going out with friends and I want the curl to last for hours without going limp. The synthetic hair is perfect for that, because it always holds its style. I use the human hair when I go to the office or for special occasions when I want to change it up and wear my hair straight. I just love running my fingers through it. Plus, my stylist added some lowlights to it for the fall, and it really made my hair pop. It gave it some depth and made it look more natural. I just wanted to share my thoughts on the product for woman that had questions or were in doubt about hair extensions in general. Think about what you are trying to achieve with your hair, as far as length, fullness, texture, etc., and then make your decision about what is right for you.:) P.S. I hope they add more to this collection, because I love to change it up...maybe some flaired edges or something!
Author: Janelle Delo Anyone who says these are too expensive is just cheap. I had Great Lengths and paid 2,000 dollars every 3 months or so, plus cuts, color, etc. This is a great price. I began with the synthetic and loved the look but obviously synthetic hair doesn't last. As soon as they became knotted it was over since you cannot brush them. It takes seconds and the hair is great quality. The only note is that the Chestnut color in synthetic was lighter than human hair, but it is not a problem as it is so close. The price on this website also is the cheapest you will find them anywhere. This is the cheapest way to have human hair extensions period so do not be put off by the high price reviews other people have given. You get what you pay for, if you want to spend 100/200 bucks then you get synthetic, that is life.
Author: Jessica G. I absolutely love this product! The hair is so soft and luxurious, the color is beautiful, and it only takes a minute to pop the piece into place. I used to spend so much time on my hair, now I only have to worry about the top layer. This is a fabulous product and worth every dollar!
Author: Kathryn Cook i'm very serious about purchasing the 21' human hair extension. i have naturally curly hair that i straighten all the time and it's pretty much all one length. will this piece blend naturally with my real hair? or will it look fake and separated?
Author: kelly $500 for a hairpiece is just too much. i just got human hair extensions put in at my salon for $300!
Author: Amber Lloyd I know that a lot of people have said that the price is to much, but it is worth the price because i have hard to grow thin hair, but this product is very helpful in making my hair fuller and longer.. i love it!!!
Author: Char E. I haven't ordered yet, but I am looking into it. I understand how the top is clipped in, it's the bottom I don't understand. Does your hair go underneath or does your own hair still hang loose?
Author: Angel Just received my new 21" hairdo extensions and can't believe how real they look and feel. Can't wait to wear them out!
Author: Jessica these extensions are amazing! best thing i have ever bought for my hair. they look real, feel soft, and give me amazing volume and body. i would recommend these to anyone.
Author: Marty R. Considering the cost of my permanent extensions this system is very affordable. It's a Chinese/Indian blend (great quality) so if the product were cheaper it would likely be made from a lesser quality hair. You get what you pay for! I think ANYONE considering permanent extensions should try this piece first. My permanent extension destroyed my hair. I'm wearing this piece until my real hair becomes wearable. However, I'll still wear this piece even when my hair grows out...just because it is easy and beautiful. Now my hair doesn't stress me out!!!!!
Author: Corrina I love mine! Thank you!
Author: Charlie D Washed it a couple of times and it's already looking like my horse's tail. Not a fan, anyone else tired of celebrities putting out bad products?
Author: lexie ingle I CANT WAIT TO GET THIS and iam obsest with my hair i no whats right for it and after i go one of theese prodects i never went bak to other extentions and iam a real preson saying this iam 15 year of age
Author: becca waddell this is an expinsive hair prouduct, but i'm 13 and had mine for 11 months.they feel so light, and look so reel!i told all of my friends to get these!they are incredable!
Author: iris smiley wait this says "HEAT SAFEY" does that mean you can straighten it? i usally wear my hair straight. can anyone help me out? i want to purchase the item but i want to know if i can straighten it. HELP?
Author: Tenten The hair extension is of high quality and has perfect highlights to compliment the color. However, it was a little expensive, but it looks very natural.
