Step 1: Gather Your Hair
	Gather your hair in a ponytail. If your ponytail is long, wrap it into a bun and secure with pins, if necessary.

Step 2: Slip it into Your Hair
	Open the clip and slip into your hair so that the straight part of the clip slips behind the ponytail band and the top of the clip goes over it. (For a slightly different silhouette, slip it in sideways instead of from top to bottom).
Step 3: Secure in Place
	When the piece is securely in place, it should lay flat against the head. Check for any gaps between the piece and your head. If any gaps are there, use your fingers to shape the flexible wire in the base so that it lays flat against your head.
Step 4: Style as Desired
	Tuck in stray hairs and finish as desired. It's that simple! Or for an alternate silhouette, you may wish to put your hair in a slightly lower ponytail and slip the piece in sideways instead of from top to bottom.

Cleaning Synthetic Hair

Caring for your new hair product is easy, and you should treat your new product as an investment that you want to keep looking new and fresh for as long as possible. The correct care and maintenance will allow you to continue using the product with the best results for the longest amount of time. So, use the following instructions as a gauge for determining how and when you should wash and care for your products. Just like your own hair, synthetic hair will accumulate residue through normal wear. However, you do not need to wash the synthetic hair everyday to keep consistent results. The fiber should be washed as infrequently as possible or when you notice that the fiber appears dull. If you are wearing the hair all day, every day, you can wash them after 4-6 wearings.

Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles or teasing with your fingers or a pick comb. Do not brush.

Add one teaspoonful of any mild shampoo to two quarts cold - never hot - water.

Immerse the hair and soak 3-5 minutes, then gently swish up and down. Do not rub.

Rinse thouroughly twice in cold water.

Dab gently with a towel to remove excess water. Do not squeeze or twist.

While still wet, spray with a leave in conditioner that is specifically formulated for synthetic hair goods.

Dry on a towel at room temperature.

Style with fingers or pick comb. Do not use hair dryer, blow dryer or curling iron. Avoid excess heat. Do not brush or comb while wet.

Care Between Wear

Spray with a light mist of leave-in conditioner (specifically formulated for synthetic fiber) to keep your hair looking fresh and healthy.

Gently remove any tangles using your fingers or pick comb.

A water soluble hair spray may be used for a light hold.

Styling the Hair

Blow dryers, curling irons and other thermal tools should not be used on synthetic fiber as the heat can melt the fiber.

Because the curl pattern (or lack of a curl pattern) is baked into the fiber, it is not necessary to set your synthetic hair after washing. However, if you wish, wet setting is the safest way to curl your hair.

You may want to have the hair custom cut to achieve your desired style. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CUT IT YOURSELF. Take your product to a salon professional.

Storing the Hair

It is best to store the synthetic hair in it's original container. However, you can store the hair in a plastic bag.

To keep the desired curl pattern, you may want to set the hair on rollers that conform to the curl size you wish to maintain before storing in plastic.

Do not sleep or swim while wearing the synthetic hair.
